Machining Video: EasyRoute CNC Router Cutting Training, Z-Axis Zero Setting and Demo Cut and Area Clearance on 16mm Supawood
This video gives you a demonstration on cutting settings and the options you have to get the perfect cut.
To set your mark as an X and Y 00 you have to press X Y as opposed to 0 and clear the coordinates. Which means the job will start where you now set it.
Your Z material is at the bottom and not at the top. You can use the stepping function to bring the screw downwards on your Z material. You can use a paper for testing and when it pinches it a little it is fine as it is. Z+ is for taking the screw down.
When you switch on the machine it will always go to your reference point.
To set a space to be left between your table and the screw, go to menu, option 4, operator parameters and you will find “lift” and “pauses”.
When it doesn’t cut all the way through, you need to set your Z zero a bit more down.
After finishing a job, the screw will go back to 00.
