Machining Video: 5mm Thick Artificial Faux Leather Fabric Cut on CNC CO2 Laser Machine with Compressed Air
Faux leather simply means artificial or synthetic leather. You’ve seen faux leather household couches, chairs and headboard upholstery and on several consumer goods. There are two primary types of faux leather construction: polyurethane and polyvinyl chloride. In this video, faux leather as being cut through a compressed air enable CNC CO2 Laser Machine from am.co.za.
This machine has ernomous capability. It’s able to rip through a 5mm faux leather to give the use the desired artwork. Now, a CO2 laser uses a gas mixture to create the laser beam. The necessary high voltage in the resonator is created with the help of wear-free semiconductor excitation modules. It relies on such modules since they are smaller, more efficient and reliable. The CO2 technology is suited for all-rounders who process various materials and thick sheet metal. The production unit is mechanical and mostly operated by compressed air.
Leather and Clothing Industry: We can also use this device to engrave text and graphics, carving patterns or designs on woodwork, hollowing out. It’s also used when cutting clothes, underwear, home decoration, gloves, bags, shoes, hats (cowboy leather hats for example), toys and other industries.
