Nesting is well known for its systematic positioning of numerous shapes onto a specified area. It increases use of the plate, decreases waste and lowers costs of material.
Nesting CAM software is utilized to make ready made parts for cutting. What happens first is that geometry is imported from CAD. Next, the files are prepared for machining by applying various cutting parameters. Finally, nests are created manually by the user or automatically by the software.
